Adoption Assistance Program
Provides financial and medical coverage to facilitate adoption for children who otherwise would remain in long-term foster care. Adoptive parents can request program benefits, including a monthly negotiated rate, medical coverage (Medicaid/Medi-Cal), reimbursement of adoption expenses, payment for out-of-home placement, etc.
