NEW: The California Community Resource Guide
The California Community Resource Guide was developed by OCPSC in close collaboration with the Trusted Messenger Network to provide a one-stop-shop for state programs, services and assistance. Partners are encouraged to use this tool to help community members find the assistance they need – from food and childcare costs to finding affordable healthcare options.

Help Prioritize Wellness Dec. 1-20

The winter holiday season can be stressful, costly and lonely. Let’s support the wellbeing of Californians by sharing the importance of accessing mental health support, self-care practices and positive coping strategies during the Season of Wellness, December 1-20. Remind Californians to prioritize their health and to access state resources available to help families at community events you’re participating in and on social media using the hashtags
#SeasonOfWellness and #OCPSC.

Improving Mental Health in Children and Youth!

OCPSC is partnering with CalHope in providing digital mental health support to youth, young adults, and families through Soluna (ages 13 25) and BrightLife Kids (ages 0-12). These two applications allow families and youth to access 1:1 coaching, tools, and support for whatever life stage they are going through. The best part These applications require no medical insurance and are completely FREE for all Californians!

California Volunteers recently introduced their Climate Action Campaign, encouraging Californians to take action for collective impact. These simple steps include being prepared for Extreme Heat in your area and committing to Save Our Water. Did you know that OCPSC partners with 142 community-based organizations who serve as trusted messengers across California? Our team is convening CBOs in our 11 regions to tap their deep knowledge about what matters to their communities as well as innovative solutions. This deep dive into the regional landscape strengthens the state’s reach to ALL Californians and boosts collaborations on the ground.
