California Community
Resource Guide
Resources for community members
Introduction
The Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC) collaborates with a trusted messenger network of community-based organizations, ethnic media outlets, outreach workers, faith leaders, and many others. In one-on-one interactions, trusted messengers have authentic conversations to provide valuable information to support community members.
The California Community Resource Guide provides an easy-to-navigate online directory to search for State services, resources, and assistance. It is designed with the user in mind – to equip trusted messengers with information about accessing basic needs and other state services as they engage and reach out to community members. Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) were involved in feedback sessions to develop this user-friendly directory which is a result of listening to our trusted messengers.
