Creating a More United California

CREATING MORE RESILIENT COMMUNITIES

By funding community-based organizations throughout the state, OCPSC is helping them build capacity, allowing them opportunities to hire staff and reach more people with critical information and resources.

AccessCal is a Southern California nonprofit that provides wrap-around health and human services to the community with a focus on Arab- and Muslim-Americans.

BRINGING STATE AGENCIES TOGETHER

With over 150 state agencies operating across California, collaboration can sometimes be difficult. Enter: The State Agency Work Group! Led by the OCPSC Partnerships team, the State Agency Work Group focuses on engaging with statewide partners and internal state agencies in order to promote collaboration and build relational connection and content knowledge.

Started during Census 2020 and continuing through today, this group gives space for OCPSC and State Agency Partners to share vital information through monthly meetings for cross-sharing and taking action on California’s most pressing issues.

If you are a state agency or department interested in learning more about this work group or joining the monthly meetings, please reach out to Nicole Rivera at nicole.rivera@opr.ca.gov
