Responding to the Los Angeles Fires:
The devastating fires across Los Angeles have left countless Californians without homes, clothing, food, and more. In the midst of such tragedy, OCPSC swiftly collaborated with community-based organizations that leapt into action to help their communities.
To support this work, we have created a new category of resources in our California Community Resource Guide for wildfire recovery and resilience, allowing families to access the state resources they need in one easy, accessible place.
CALIFORNIA LOVE, CALIFORNIA STRONG
California stands united in supporting communities affected by wildfires by providing resources and opportunities to make a difference.
Thank you for taking action to strengthen our communities by:
• 💌 Giving your time: Sign up to assist recovery efforts across the state.
• 📢 Giving resources: Share critical resources with those in need.
• 🚒 Giving gratitude: Send a card, post a message or create a sign to show your gratitude.
• 💙 Giving love: Connect with others, share a meal or send a supportive text.
Together, we can rebuild stronger and more united than ever.
PROMOTING FINANCIAL WELLNESS
In coordination with our partners at United Ways of California, Golden State Opportunity (GSO), and the California Franchise Tax Board, OCPSC is excited to host a Financial Wellness Week of Action January 31 – February 7. During this time, we will host a variety of events to educate Californians about the many financial resources available to help bring further financial wellness for ALL Californians.
