California Community Resource Guide

The California Community Resource Guide provides an easy-to-navigate online directory to search for State services, resources, and assistance. It is designed with the user in mind – to equip trusted messengers with information about accessing basic needs and other state services as they engage and reach out to community members.

Our grantees provided:
439,826 conversations about state information and resources to Californians
360,446 referrals to state resources
From February-May, grantees provided 74,258 enrollments into state programs

CalKIDS

By partnering with trusted local and statewide entities, OCPSC is increasing the number of CalKIDS scholarships claimed. CalKIDS is a children’s scholarship account program administered by the ScholarShare Investment Board, an agency of the State of California. The program provides children born in California and eligible public school students with a CalKIDS scholarship worth up to $1,500 for college or career training.

Our grantees provided:
• 43,136 enrollments
• $27,690,595 million in scholarships claimed by families

 

 

 

 

California Love, California Strong

California Love, California Strong is connecting all Californians to a deeper sense of belonging through self-care, service and social connections. In partnership with the Office of the First Partner, we host monthly events bringing together local and state leaders, community members and volunteers to connect with resources, volunteer opportunities and one another. By providing these opportunities, we foster a more resilient and loving culture.

California Service Corps

OCPSC was engaged to build awareness of the California Service Corps brand that includes four paid service programs – Climate Action Corps, College Corps, AmeriCorps California and Youth Service Corps. The statewide, multi-media public awareness campaign focuses on driving interest and participation among 18-30 year-olds.
