Our Services
Capacity Building Grants
OCPSC is building capacity at community-based organizations throughout California by awarding grants through competitive bid. Grantees provide peer-to-peer outreach and education on priority issues as well as enrollment assistance into vital state programs. These trusted messengers, on the frontlines in communities across California, allow us to activate quickly and efficiently because trust has been built.
Collective Impact Tables
Monthly virtual engagements facilitated by regional program managers to convene and mobilize community-based organizations and stakeholders on regional collective action, foster collaboration across their region and explore best practices.
CORD
A custom digital platform designed to inform, facilitate and track outreach efforts for community-based organizations. Key features include a Digital Asset Library to access and share accurate and timely materials on the state’s highest priorities, GeoVisualization for exploring data to target outreach efforts, and grants management tools.
Community Connections
Community members and community-based organizations passionately share about the region where they work and play, their unrelenting challenges and their experiences with priority issues and community resilience. These regional conversations created continuous feedback loops of information that helped shaped strategies.

Ethnic and Community Media
OCPSC has developed a highly successful blueprint for collaborating with ethnic media outlets to deliver accurate, culturally relevant information to California’s diverse communities. This blueprint has served as an ongoing resource for state agencies and partners, by strengthening trusted relationships, providing in‑language resources, and guiding state agencies on effective engagement.
Disability, Inclusion and Access
We partnered with the Disability Rights and Education Fund to provide regional trainings on disability inclusion and access. To strengthen outreach to people with disabilities, OCPSC created guides in six languages to ensure accessibility and create a welcoming environment for events, outreach and communications.
